New web site designed for the Maine non-profit
I've designed a new web site for the Maine State Society for the Protection of Animals. MSSPA is one of the oldest animal protection groups in the country and needed to develop a web site for the first time. Check out the site in my web design portfolio.
The site is built on the content management platform Drupal, which has become my choice for developing a web sites. I've tried just about all of the open-source CMS solutions and I've settled on Drupal because of it's flexibility. Using Drupal I can make just about any kind of web site I need to for a client. MSSPA's site design makes great use of this flexibility in the way that the template changes depending on what you are doing on the site and what your role is.
MSSPA also needed a way to manage online donations and membership. For this I used CiviCRM, which plugins in to Drupal and gives the site a CRM that is geared towards non-profits and civic organizations. Setup was a little complex, but it's a great tool for organizations that have a limited budget and need a way to manage it's contacts.
