Moved site to Drupal
I finally moved this site to Drupal from Wordpress and took the opportunity to launch a new theme. As I've discovered new content management systems, I've moved this site from Mambo, Joomla, Wordpress & now to Drupal, which I think it will stay in for a long time since I've pretty much focusing exclusively on using Drupal to develop web sites with these days.
Using the Wordpress import module I was able to export the content out of Wordpress and import in to Drupal in just a few minute. I need to go through the content and make some tweaks because of the theme changes, but it was a real time saver.
One of the reasons I wanted to move to Drupal was because of the Movie Database module which should give to new power to the Movie section. With of 250 movies to move from regular posts, it's going to take some time to happen.
The new site also brings all of my various methods of handling photo galleries together. It's an easy system to manage and I can quickly create new galleries. It's pretty much the same systems that I used on
my friend Meri's web site with a few theme changes.
