Blessed color
I just purchased a new device from Pantone called huey for calibrating your monitor's color. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a high-end calibration device, but for $80 it will improve how I see color.
This thing is really tiny and cool. It's setting in it's cradle on the table next to my computer with the LCDs blinking a me as it tests the room's ambient light level and automatically adjusts it's settings. It was really easy to install and the calibration only took a minute. Now when I go into PhotoShop, or any app in the Creative Suite, I can set my color settings to the profile created by huey. Really simple and I definitely see improvement. Worth every penny.
